BAFTA Winning, Royal Television Society Nominated Cinematographer, working in motion pictures, television, and commercials. I shoot across all major motion picture formats, with experience working in over 25 different countries with local and international crews.
I have overseen over 200 productions, including 25+ HETV series and feature films, won a BAFTA Cymru for ‘Gwen’ and was nominated for RTS awards for ‘A Discovery of Witches’ and ‘One of Us’ – in addition to 18 ‘Best Cinematography’ nominations at international film festivals, winning 9. Shows include some of the most popular and successful British television of recent years, with productions recognised with BAFTA and RTS awards and nominations for Best Series and Best Drama, as well as being recognised in the US with Emmy Awards. I have served on cinematography awards jury committees for a number of international film festivals, as well as for BAFTA, the Royal Television Society, and the BSC.
Although now primarily focused on scripted narrative, I have previously photographed Cannes Lion winning commercials as well as RAD and IVCA winning content for leading international brands and production companies. I love dogs, dislike mean people, and have a bonkers Golden Irish Retriever called Tula.
